IDs

ID POLICY: Bloom Township High School District 206 requires all students to wear an ID at all times while in school. This includes before and after school while the student is present in the building. Any violation of this policy will result in the consequences listed below.
The ID is to be worn around the neck on a school issued breakaway lanyard.
The ID must be visible at all times.
School IDs are required to board the school bus. School bus drivers are not required to let any student on a school bus if they do not have their proper school ID. It may be possible that students will have to find another means of transportation to school in order to purchase a new ID.
IDs are required for all student activities such as sporting events or dances but need not be displayed. They may be carried in their pockets or purses.
School IDs are school property and must be surrendered to any school personnel upon request.
Students are issued an ID and lanyard at the beginning of the school year. If the ID is lost, broken or defaced, it is the student’s responsibility to pay for the replacement. ID cost is $5.00 each and lanyards are $1.00 each.
DEFACEMENT: Students are not allowed to alter the ID from its original state. If the student used stickers, markers, and holes or peels the ID apart, the ID will be confiscated and the student MUST purchase a new one and serve a consequence.
TEMPORARY ID: If the student has left their ID at home, an IN SCHOOL, ONE DAY, temporary ID may be used. Students are allowed three free temporary IDs per semester without consequence. The temporary ID is not allowed at school events and sometimes may not be accepted on the school buses. Students may purchase a temporary ONE-DAY ID for $1.00. Excessive use of temporary IDs will result in disciplinary action.
TEMPORARY IDS NEW THIS YEAR:
First 3 IDs are FREE Each Semester
1-10 Additional Temps $1.00 each
11-20 Additional Temps $2.00 each
21-30 Additional Temps $3.00 each
31-40 Additional Temps $4.00 each
41+ $5.00 for a permanent ID. No more temps available.
NO ID is not acceptable at Bloom Trail. If the student has no ID, has no more temporaries available and does not have $1.00 to purchase a temporary, the student will be placed in ISS until the student can purchase a new ID, find their ID or purchase a temporary.
NO STUDENT CAN MOVE ABOUT THE SCHOOL WITHOUT AN ID.
